Creating an H-1B Organization Account

With the H-1B registration period opened up, we have prepared a guide to help through the process of creating a USCIS online account for your H-1B registration and application.

Step 1 | Access the Sign Up Page

• https://myaccount.uscis.gov/users/sign_up

• Enter your email address and click “Sign Up”

• Make sure that this email is your personal one and that you are the only user.

Step 2 | Confirm Your Account

• A confirmation message will be sent to the account you signed up with. 

• Click on the link sent and it will take you to the next step in creating your account.

Step 3 | Create a Password

• 8-64 characters long

• Contain: letters (UPPERCASE & lowercase), numbers, and special characters 

• Phrases are the most secure since they’re easy to remember and hard to break.

Step 4 | Select a Two-Factor Authentication Method

• Choose one of the ways to authenticate your MyUSCIS account:

  • Authentication App

  • Text Message

  • Email

Step 5 |  Provide 5 Password Reset Answers

• After authenticating your account, you will be asked to create 5 Password Reset Answers.

Step 6 | Finalize and Select Account Type

• After submitting your password reset answers, the screen will take you to a Welcome Screen.

• Click on the myUSCIS button

• Select the 3rd option [I am part of an organization or company, a sole proprietor, or an agent].
